Default Forgestar CF5

Hey guys just ordered a set of Forgestar CF5s deep concave in 18x10 +42 square setup. Wondering if this setup will clear CTSV 4 piston brembos in the front? Also if anyone has pics of their car on CF5s post them up! Not too many pics floating around the web with CF5s.

I hope for your sake they clear! I don't know the answer to your question, but I got a set of F14's and the lug holes don't fit impact sockets (well 3 wheels just barely fit a socket, and 1 does not for some reason). My plastic sleeve socket does not fit at all. I'm kind of shocked and also upset. I'm using my wheels for AX and use an impact to change wheels often. I don't want to go back to doing it by hand. And I don't want to shatter a load of chrome sockets.

Yea I remember reading that the Forgestar lug holes run small. And I hear you, after using an impact I never want to go back to taking wheels off by hand. O well I guess i'll find out in a few months!

My chrome standard socket fits, it measures 26mm wide, and these are claimed 26mm wide. So I'd say yes. But maybe if they get beat out of shape you'd need to replace them sooner than standard or fat wall sockets. Or maybe they take a little more gun power to work as well.

You should be fine. I had F14 deep concave 18x10, I think they were 40ET with 4pots.

Here is my car with CF5. These are 18x11 ET45 deep concave. I went CF5 this time because they are much easier to clean!

I realize they're not forgestars, but for what it's worth, my CCW 505a are 19x10 have an effective offset of +42 and they barely clear my V1 Brembos. But they do clear!

Those are gonna look good though!

Get them to a tire shop asap and even if you're not mounting tires, get them to check the runout and trueness. Just mounted my tires and one of my wheels they said is bent (brand new) and has a *visible* wobble to it on the machine.

Wow that is terrible, If I wasn't deployed right now I would get it done asap. Hopefully if theres an issue they will still let me return them when I get to that point. Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you! I think I'm going to go with the C7 calipers and rotors so I can still run my stock 17s.
