Hoosier Drag Radials 295/50 R16s
I'm trying to keep a bit of a sleeper vibe going with my 2000 Z28. I'm looking at drag radials for a 16x8 stock wheel, but want 28" tall. I've used the M&H 275/55 R16s in the past but wasnt overly impressed. Years ago I remember Mickey Thompson making a 295/50 R16, but can't find them listed anywhere anymore. I've never used the Hoosiers, but they look intriguing because of the 295/50 R16 size. Worst case I'll keep the 255/50 R16 Mickey Thompsons I have on now. Anyone have any experience with the Hoooisers? Thanks everyone.

Did you have any luck with the 295 50 16?
I am in the same boat, I am running the mickey 255's on the factory 10 spokes, hitting 11.70s but cant launch hard, with a 4000 stall I can only bring it out around 1200. If I bring it out 1500 or more it spins and shifts to second gear within 6 feet and it is a sickening sound.
Hoosier does say 8" is minimum. The other question, can the Hoosiers be driven to the track 45 minute ride - legal (if they fit, that would not stop me) ? I don't like hosiers disclaimers. my buddy runs these hoosiers on his GN and they hook - they are nowhere near the size of the 295's either.
