Default Stock wheel locks on the 2002 Firehawk/Firebird

Does anyone know if 2002 Firehawks (or Firebirds) came with wheel locks from factory or from SLP? My 2002 came with strange wheel locks. but without a key, so I had to use a wheel lock remover tool to try and remove the locks. I put the locks back for now, but want to replace them with factory locks (if available).

Here is what the car came with:

NOTE: The brown color is not rust, it's the actual color of the metal (it's anodized or powder coated). The weird part is that the splines are actually on the outside of the lock (it's hard to see in the pic).

These look a little like Dorman spline drive wheel locks, except they are open-ended and Dorman locks are close-ended

In the event none of these cars came with wheel locks from factory, does anyone have part numbers for stock lug nuts and lug nut covers handy?

All of my LS1 4th gens came from the factory with these wheel locks. The key was contained in a small plastic bag that came with each car originally. I promptly removed and replaced them with normal factory lug nuts to match the other 16.

That's what I had on my 2001 T/A as well. My originals wore out. Smoothed out over time from tire changes and rotations over the many years. I did get another set at about the 15 year mark if I was to give a guess.

I quickly got tired of the wheel lock and the black, plastic, lug nut covers, and ditched them for some black Gorilla lug nuts. They don't really change the look of the wheels and you don't have to deal with the plastic caps or the wheel lock.

Yeah I hear you. If I was driving mine often, I'd get rid of them too. But, this is one of my "fun/summer" cars, so I'm trying to keep is 100% stock, exactly as it came from the factory.

That's why I just replaced the locks with the standard factory lug nuts (matching the other 16), so that I could use the same factory plastic caps and fitment of said caps would be identical. No need for locks on a vehicle that never left my sight (mine's a garage queen/show car as well). If you are removing the wheels often to detail the brakes or inner surfaces of the wheels (some folks do this for show cars), those locks are a huge hassle.

^^^ Certainly makes sense if not leaving the car outside in any strange places. No need for locking type.
On the other hand, we have taken our Trans Am all over the US and had to leave it outside in motel parking lots, never mind all the other stops along the way.. A little peace of mind for us having them on the car.

Thanks for the info, everyone. Beautiful pics!

To be clear, I am not concerned about wheel theft. The goal was to keep the car 100% stock as it came from the factory.

Since it does not look like I can get a set of original wheel locks, does anyone know the part number for (or a place I can buy) an original set of lug nuts?

I bought the four replacements that I mentioned earlier directly from a GM dealership. I don't have the part number handy as this was nearly 20 years ago, but I'm sure they could look this up based on the model in question. If it's discontinued and you need an old part number for searching Ebay or the like, let me know and I'll dig through my paperwork and see if I can find the part number.
