When I purchased it the 83 year old gentleman had just put 18" Chrome C7 wheels. I never liked the way they looked on it. After doing the Berger mod, they had to go. So I went to a swap meet this past weekend and scored a set of ZR1/SS wheels for 100 bucks. They needed some love. I got all of the minor issues taken car of and then fired up my paint gun and shot the satin black. I decided to go with Goodyear F1 tires 275s all the way around
and this is the end result. I think these are winners until I can find a nice used set of black race star front runners. I already have the rears.
Thanks! I couldn't pass up a GM set of them. I do wish they were 18s, but the 17s do look just as nice. I was always a fan of those wheels back when they were new. I never liked the 01-02 SS wheels. The car is really starting to look good.

Just an FYI, but these wheels were still available on SS all the way through 2002 (but only in chrome, as an SLP option, from 2000 forward). The 10-spoke wheels were the base GM offering from 2000-02.

I knew they ran through 99. I tried to buy a 99 SS off of a buddy in 03, but his mom had other plans. I couldn't remember if the 10 spokes were 00 or 01. I used those 10 spokes as rollers for my 67 Camaro lol. They ultimately went on a S10, I just never really liked the way those looked.
