Are you running 90 series draglites? I've done research and ran across 90 series and XP Series 191 and according Jeg's Catalog the 191 series are used for late model camaro for caliper clearance is this true?

XP Series 191 doesn't seem to have 7.5 B.S. only 5.5 for the 15x10 the 90 series does. I have 325/50/15 BFG's tires ready to get mounted on some wheels.

Also can you give me the specs on your front tires size and rim B.S. size I'd really appreciate it................

Thanks

The wheels on the car are Weld 90 series Draglites. The front wheels are 15x3.5 with 1-3/4 B.S., the rear 15x10s with 7.5 B.S. I have no spaces on the car, so you know I had to grind the (****) OUT OF THE CALIPERS. Good Luck!!

Talking

These aren't street tires...but they are *approximately* the same size as a 325-50-R15 Street tire. mounted on 15x10 (7.5" BS) prostars

I had to do some massaging and cutting of the lower wheelwell to get them to fit

What did you use to grind and how long did it take for both calipers?
And do you still have your bumpstops on?

I can guarrantee there's no bump stops in there. You just use an angle grinder on the calipers and test fit, grind, test fit grind etc. Until it's clearing. I'm looking at doing this exact same combo and was looking at 325/50's evidently there's a few folks making them:

M/T ET Street Radial 325/50/15 ...3757R
BFG Drag Radial 325/50/15
Hoosier Quick Times DOT ......17120QT
M&H Drag Radial.......NEW....325/50/15

anybody know of anyone else? I wish Nitto would step up and make one, I'd do it tomorrow!

Like skimms98 said, I used an angle grinder. It took maybe a hour or so on the first one, not quiet as long on the rest. I would grind awhile, paint the caliper, put the wheel on, see where it rubbed and grind some more. No bumpstops. Thanks for the compliments guys, it means a lot to a old man.

Charles, any chance you have pics of your inner fenderwell? I am ordering my wheels and tires this week. I'm not to worried about grinding the calipers, just trying to figure out what you modified in the fenderwell. Also, what lowering springs did you use?

just for FYI, going from a 315/35/17 to the 325/50/15 will result in a 9% reduction in gear ratio. It takes my 3.42's down to 3.11's. BUT, if you up the gear to 3.73's the extra height will drop you almost back to 3.42's putting you at 3.39 ratio. I had to figure this as I am about to order some of these up 'cause it looks sooooooooooo killer.

Sorry, no pic of inner fenderwell. I had to cut out the part where the fenderwell meets the fender. I have stock rear springs, cut to desired ride height. I wish I could explain better, sorry.

Yes its lower than stock. If you look back on the first page, where I used 2 pepsi can as a reference to ride height. Sorry, but I don't know. My car has always been a lowrider.

I can guarrantee that bumpstops are on my car with M/T 325s. No grinding, just rims with the right off set, fender roll, BFH, double adjustable LCAs And PHB. No rubbing at all.
