Z06 storage/maintenance question - newbie

greetings, i just bought a set of 17 Z06's, very nice, but now i am saving for my tires. my question is, (they are polished, not chrome) what can i do to shine them or protect them while i am waiting on my tires. they will be stored inside and not exposed to the elements. TAI,

I would always polish them with mothers after I took them off and they would be just fine after a good 5 months. Back when I had TT2's...

thanks for the responses, sorry i took so long, i used mothers and while i see no shine diference, i can feel it in the smoothness, should i wax them as well?

mothers mag and aluminum polish, in a small red and white tub and looks like white cream.

Did the towel turn black? If not the wheel is clear coated . . . .

yea, it got black, they are not clear coated, i jus have a few weeks before my tires arrive and i want to do teh best for the wheels before i install them they feel slick now, but do i need to wax them?

For protection you may want to look into a product called "ZOOP SEAL" it seals the aluminum . . . .
