Default Weld Draglite Fitment Help!!

Ive got a 99 LS1 Camaro
I just got a pair of 15x3.5" Weld Draglites
In order to fit these on the car I know I need a 5/16" wheel spacer.
The local parts store is out of spacers right now so in order to double check the wheel fitment I put enough washers on the studs to equal a 5/16" spacer. After I did this I realized I needed longer wheel studs to even get the lugnut started!

Does anyone know what length wheel studs I need to be NHRA legal?

Mine fit fine. What lug nuts are you using?

Ive got stock lugnuts. My stock studs dont even come through the rim with the spacers on.

Thats the problem, when you use welds you have to use Shank Style lugs, they actually go into the rims, you cant use stock lugs with welds

I would NOT recommend using stock wheel studs with draglites, mine would only go in 1-2 turns, which is NOT safe at all!! I got a set of ARP 3" studs with the same thread pitch, now they have 10-15 turns into the stud, and I dont have to worry about the wheels falling off going down the road. BTW when you get wheel studs, find those spacers also, putting washers on just doesnt sound like the safest idea to me.

Alright! Yea, the washers was just a test thing to make sure that was the right size spacer. I just put the washers on there and held the wheel up to the studs to see if the calipers hit the wheel.
Where did you get your ARP 3" studs? Ive seen the 2.5" studs at Thunder Racing but not 3".

Replied to your PM. There is no such animal as a 3 inch ARP stud in a 12mm X 1.5 knurl. I wish they would make some though!
