Default sticky rubber on a budget

i have a 2000 camaro with a few mods (as seen in sig) and have 17 by 9.5 slp ss rims. i currently have goodyear f1's but they have no tread at all. what tire would be a good cheap daly driver that will get good traction? I'm on a budget

I would go with the new tire FUZIONS by Bridgestone/Firestone. I got a set of 275/40ZR17 with the lifetime/road hazard package for about $600 or less.

Oh forget to mention that they gripped really good also. I went to the track on them and pulled 1.9 sixty foots in my 99 6-speed Z28. I was very impressed with the tire, expecially for the price.

I would look at Nittos. Mine were about 500 for the set.

I got them through Discount Tire Direct. I have the regular 555 on the front and the drag radials on the back. They were on sale.

Get the new Tech M500 from Tirerack. They are awesome, and I've done alot of high speed autobahn, cornering on them. Wet and dry traction is about the same- phenomenal, and all for $133 ea.

I was wondering about those Avon tires as well. Cool to know.
