Do I need different lugnuts?
I had to replace one of the wheels but it turns out to be of different offset (50mm, I think) and the lugnuts (regular chrome acorns) go so deep inside the wheel that there is no way to fit a regular socket in there.
When the wheel was installed, the guys @ Discount Tire took a regular socket and ground it so that you could fit it in there so that they could torque the wheel properly.
I'm trying to find another wheel to match the offest of the other three, but in the meanwhile I'd like to make sure I can remove the one, if needed.
So, the question is: What do I need to do? Do I need to get different lug nuts? Get a deep socket and grind it so that it fits over the lug nuts? Or something else...?
Sorry for such a long explanation, but I wanted to give as accurate description as possible... Thanks for all the help in advance!

Or maybe I need longer studs... Or just need to keep on looking until I find the correct wheel to match the three I alreast have.
Also, I have 17x9.5's, so, as far as I have seen, there are several different offsets. And it looks like I can't find one to match the others I already have...
Anybody else?
Here's what the three wheels all look like http://www.suikkari.net/Camaro_pics/...ure%20245.html and here is what this one in question looks like http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/Picture%20261m.JPG.
With the rest of the wheels I have no problems whatsoever, just with this one. But the lugs do go deeper inside the wheel than on the others.
Even though it won't solve the problem at hand, I'll have to check the ones from PepBoys. The ones I currently have are quite worthless anyway (chrome is crumbling off already etc.).
Well, at least so far the wheel has stayed on without a problem. Trending Topics

Okay, here is an image of my Trans Am's left rear Camaro SS 10-spoke wheel with these black chrome lug nuts.
