Will 275/40 tires fit 17 by 9.5 rims??

if you have a ws6 like your name suggests...it would have come with 275s on the stock 9" wheel...so yes most deffinitely you can run that tire on an even wider wheel

i guess you could run a 275...but it would probably look like hell, and may handle even worse...just depends on the tire i suppose but id imagine it would bulge

What about an 17x10? I noticed someone selling some with 275/40's on them. Is that a good setup? If it were an 18" rim, then the sidewall number would need to be lowered correct? (i.e. 30, 35, 40, 45) Man I am really asking a lot of questions now!
