Derek
I won't be buying the tires till Feb. so I can grind the calipers with just the wheel as my stencil? I don't think I will go with the skinnies just yet. Gonna run DRs on these.

Would a 6.5" backspace make it look better? or should I get a spacer too(5/16th, I assume)

I noticed you run a 275. Can I run a 295 or a 315 DR on these? I know MT make em but for fitment. Banging in the wheel well is OK.

6.5" would make them stick out an inch further. I did use the wheel as my stencil, but you can always grind in advance.

yeah, they would stick out too far. for a 15x10 go with 7.5in BS, and 15x8 go with 5.5in BS. with the 8in rim, you don't have to grind as much and still run a 10.5 in tire. i have 27x10.5x15 et streets on mine. here is a link that should give you an idea on how much to grind:click here!!!

I am running 15X10 prostars with 7.5" backspacing. If you drag race most places will not let you pst tech with a spacer on the drive wheels. The above link is a great idea of where to grind. I used a 4" grinder, $38 at sears. It has done 3 cars. Here are mine:\

What tires you running with those? Are those powdercoated or spray painted? Mine will be Rustoleum-ed. LOL Thinking this will be added to the project list over the holiday

I am running MT drag radials on the prostars and have ET streets on draglites too. That is brake caliper paint from Advance. It was like $15 and has lasted over a year and still looks nice. I think they get too hot for rustoleum

The ET streets are 26X11.50, I forget the exact #'s on the drag radials, they translate to 26X10.50. Neither have any problems. I have lowered the nose with QA1 shocks and lowered the rear by taking the spring pads out. I don't have any good closeups of the Prostars (I forgot to take any!) I have found that the draglites need more gringinding than prostars. I originally gound mine to clear the draglites and then my buddy used my prostars to grind his. The prostars ran fine. When he borrowed my draglites they rubbed.

I love ls1tech, there is always someone who has experience with what you are planning to do. It is a great place to share knowledge. Good luck, I am sure you'll like them!
