Default 17x11 wheel with 275 tire? Will this work?

Hey guys I have a question. I just got a set of brand new tires for my car about 3 months ago. Its not a daily driver so there not worn at all. But anyways, I'm wanting to get new wheels and I can get a good deal on a set of 2 17x9.5 wheels and 2 17x11 wheels.
My question is, will I be able to fit the 275 tire on to the 17x11 wheel? Will it look like crap? Any problems? It will be temporary until I get money to get some 315s later on when the tires wear down a little. So what do you guys think, will it work alright?

Also, will there be any rubbing issues or anything like that with 17x11 wheels with 315s? What about if lowered? I just don't want to beat on my wheel wells or anything like that. So what would I need to have no rubbing? Any certain spacers or offset? Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it!

If you put 275s on an 11 inch wide wheel it will look like crap. It will strecth the tire out to get it over the wheel and it looks lame. I've heard that it helds to have a adj. panhard bar when putting 315s on to help line everything up.

If you have a really wide tire like the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 you should be OK. Those things are really wide for a 275 tread width. Otherwise I'd say you may have problems.

Dont even think about....... just save up the cash and wait till you have the money saved and ride around on the tires and wheels you have now and buy a set of 315/35's for out back...... then you will have a extra set of front tires for later down the road or sell them to help buy the 315's.........
