Default Hankook Ventus or Yolohama Geolander HTS? Z71 GMC

What is the better all season tire? The Hankook is rated M&S but does not look like it would do well in the midwest.

Looking for opinions and experience. It will be a 285/60/18 if that matters.

Thanks for any help.

I think it's the Yokohama Geolanders my friend has on his 4runner and he loves them. He said that's the tire he's gonna stick with till he gets rid of the truck.

i just ordered a set of those hankook ventus from discount tire to go on my 17x9.5 front TTII's when they come in. they were so cheap i had to try them. i diddnt much care if they hooked up or not, the 315 nittos will take care of that i just wanted them to have a good treadwear which they do (360) and look decent. i got the narrower 255 series to set off the 315's.

I ended up with the geolanders. Very impressed so far. They were great in the snow we just had. Great highway ride as well.
