are these rims sealed after they are polished from CCW?? or are they prone to damage, from salt, salt mist, water, etc?
Thanks
Specifically 505A's 19's.....
Thanks

I wouldn't advise using anything else but a good coat of wax. The luster will change, the aluminum will oxide still, and you will be left over time with a dull looking rim that you can't easily polish.
Unless your driving in a harsh environment i.e. snow, salt etc, it shouldn't be more work then polishing them once a month...It's no more work then washing or waxing your car.

Mothers polish (or other brand name products) is recommended to clean off the oxidation from the material. Most work equally well. Polishing will keep the rims looking shiny and new and is a necessary step done in varying intervals according to air quality conditions, usage etc. Just remember when you polish your rims; you remove all wax/sealers so reapplication will be necessary.
I see guys state that cleaning aluminum is a pain in the butt…though I don’t see it much different then keeping your painted surfaces clean and shiny also. Polished aluminum has a very classy refined appearance.
Good luck with your rims.

CCW can clean up VERY VERY nicely even if they get F**ked up or dirty.
