Not a Formula but I could be the only guy out there with 540R's on a bird. Better late then never. I get compliments but I thinks it's the combo of the wheels and Eradispeeds they like.
Calipers powder coated black. I talked to Baer and they laugh when someone says you can't PC a caliper, they've been doing it for a decade. Stainless steel inserts over the exposed pad area.
Originally the centers were clear coated. They used clear paint a couple years ago for this. Since paint is porous the aluminum started to loose its luster. Last month they refinished all 4 wheels under warranty and now use clear "powder coating". Never get a wheel lip coated if you have the option, always leave it raw aluminum so you can polish. Otherwise, stone chips will eat at the coating and look like ****.
