Default CCW Finish fading

i was washing my Z06 today and noticed that the anodized finish on my two front wheels is lighter than the ones the back. it seems as if they are fading. has any one heard of this?

I would put some good polish on them to bring them back to life and then coat them with a good wax....

its the anodized part that is fading. you cann't polish anodized. also, i have only had these since july, my car is my weekend toy that stays in the garage.

Can you describe which part of the rim you are talking about, I just got my car yesterday and it has 505A's on it, I haven't touched them at all yet with any polishes....I plan on it though....

yours are polished alluminum, mine have a polished lip and an anodized (black) center. donn't worry about yours just keep them polished and sealed. congrats on the new car and welcome to the Z06 family. i made the jump from my 01 ws6 to my 04 Z06 back in april. get some headers (i bought LGs) on that bitch and enjoy!
