I'm curous. I've been thinking seriously about getting some new rims for the car and have always liked the Torque Thrust II's. Probably 18x10 all around.
The problem is I'm lazy. I'll admit it - I don't want to have to polish the aluminum all the time. Can I get them chrome plated? Any advantages/disadvantages? Please advise!! Thanks!

As far as i know and i have been looking also, you cant buy them chrome. I have been told that you can get them chromed from someone though. I think the price is around 150 or so per wheel then you also have to pay shipping to and from there.
Best thing i found so far for the lazy people like myself is to go and buy that Flitz thing you see on Tv all the time. It does wonder's. My Buddies torqs ended up with a better shine then before and he only spent 10 mins on all 4 wheels. it has now been 2 weeks and we have had alot of rain and he just cleaned the car recently and its still shining like day one.
