Question stickiest tire choice?

I'm lookin to get new tires in the back for the SS (i hate the stock eagle F1s!)

I'm lookin at 285/40zr/17 in either:

Nitto 555R II
BF-Goodrich F-Force T/A KDW
Eagle F1 GS-D3
Yokohama AVS Sport

the avs sports have the lowest tread ware (200), i take that back, the 555R IIs have 100...shouldn't that mean its the stickiest? where as i think the (new redesigned) Eagle F1 GS-D3s have like 280. the higher the tread rating the least sticky right? anybody runnin any of these tires? comments or more knowledge?

oh, kdw's for the size i want say they only come in the traditional tread pattern, i want the new tread pattern, do they make em in that size yet?

thanks,
chris

Daily driver I would get the nittos. Great price, great mileage, ok wet traction. The F1s are really good tires but you pay more.

If your looking for a really sticky tire. You may want to look into the new M/T DRs. Just dont expect them to go over 40 mph in the rain.

I had the Yoko AVS sports last set and they were a great all around tire I will be going back with them next time. I have ES-100s right now and I'm switching back to compare.

I would say either one of these, BF-Goodrich F-Force T/A KDW or
Eagle F1 GS-D3. GOOD LUCK!!!!

No. the higher the tread rating, the longer the life of the tire. The GS-D3's are actually a fairly soft tread compound but have a really deep tread pattern so t he wear isn't as noticable.

The GS-D3 is a great all around tire. Probably the best I've ever owned. It all depends on what you want. Strictly dry go DR, all around street tire (no snow) I'd have to say the D3's.
