Privat profil GP...Backorder update Hey guys...no good news. You all bought me out. Hell, ya bought out the whole company. Privat is now on a 8week backorder. I have two sets of 18" silver left. You can snag those, or you can have them custom painted however you wish...for an additional charge.
Did I get my order in before you ran out. I spoke to you on the phone Tuesday and today. You told me they were going to ship this week. What's up?
I ordered 18x9.5 black with nitto tires shipped to NC.

I called Privat Wheels (Conig) yesterday and asked about the backorder on the black Profils. They told me 6-8 weeks. Which is funny (not really) because thats the same thing they told me 6-8 weeks ago. Are they doing the machine work by hand with a friggin dremel or what???!!!
I got them all in, but one of them is damaged, so I'm stuck with three perfect rims and one scratched up rim sitting in my closet at home. I really want to just put them on anyway, but I don't want to have to end up eating a rim because they won't take back a rim that's been mounted. I hate to even look at them right now. Just makes me sick. Todd tried really hard to find me a replacement and has me on the waiting list for a new one. He has been great and I definetly can't complain about his customer service.
I got all of my 295's sold and bought some 275 8080E Dunlops for fairly cheap. They are just sitting in the garage. I'm about ready to just say f@ck it and sell it all.

I can't seem to get any answers from anyone on this, so I will try here as a last resort for answers. The original 8 weeks has come and gone since my original order and now the factory is telling me 8 more weeks. They also mentioned that since there were no orders for them they will not expidite the manufacturing of the wheels. That's strange, because I KNOW I have an order place for some. Now we are going into the 11th week of perma back order.
