My car made about 425rwhp thrrough a 4l60e and now I have a manual valve body th350. I am still clinging to the street strip car thing and retain 3550lbs of weight and a/c, radio, full leather interior ect.
When my car is at the track I us ET drags. They stick like glue. I bought BFG 315Xr35X17 radials for the street hoping I wouldnt have to baby it as much on the street. I didnt expect them to be as good as the full slick...of course.
The only positive thing I can say is if I nail it while moving it tracks straight while it goes up in smoke instead of wanting to sway on me. I did find a nice concrete road and did a smokey burnout and then tryed to lauch fairly easy.....not happeneing. I guess I am learning that even this tire will need to be babied out of the hole. Maybe I should trade in my 17X11's for some 17X9.5s and try a MT ET Drag Radial.
NEways. I think it is an improvement over my well used up Dunlop SP 5000's but cant hold my NA power much less if I turn on the bottle.
A stock car or just bolt on car would probubly have a much different experience than me.
