Default Problems getting 18X10.5 Z06 wheels to fit on 2001 WS6...

18X10.5 Motorsport Z06 wheels (apparently 58mm, although some posts say 54mm offset) using BFG Comp TA ZR 295-35-18 tires...

BTW fronts fit fine, 275-40-17 on 17X9.5...

The tire is hitting the bump stop "ledge"...removed the bump stop bushing, still hits a lot, can't tighten down lug nuts, very obtrusive.

I know some people cut the ledge, but wanted to know if bending/banging it would also work....

Car has stock rear end, with adjustable panhard rod bar (upper and lower), and some other rear end suspension pieces...

Anyone else with a 2001 TA have this problem with this rim/tire combo???

I am ordering the same thing...

Anyway I keep seeing people over and over on here say just to jack it from the axle and install them like that and you'll be fine. If you get air borne I imagine it would rub the bump stop though. No idea I haven't gotten mine yet.

I agree with these guys. I had to jack mine up from the diff today to put the wheels back on after removing my spacers.
