The GY F1D3 has a reputation of being pretty wide for it's size. So it my look even better.
Are you still using a 275/40/17 on the front?

Most places here sell the A032R for about $280-$300, but I recently learned the Tire Rack is selling them for about $200.

The way you presented your question confuses me. Why did you include a random picture while asking me my front tire size?

My TA is running the TTII rims in 9.5/11" with 275 Nitto 555RII autocross fronts and Nitto 555R drag radials in back. The grip is amazing, but the rears have little feel and don't respond well to steering input. I blame the soft sidewalls. I wish Nitto would make the RII in 315. Maybe we could start a petition or something.

Nitto officially said that the 315 would be available, something like 2 years ago
I've lost faith in the wait.

Sorry about that. I just got off work, and was dead tired when i posted that. I was asking because, in your previous post you said it had a 285/40/17 tire. So, is it a 285 or a 315 in that pic?

I ran 285's on an 11 inch rim. They were Goodyear Eagle F1's though, they seem to run wider than most.

Cool, Thanks. How about the front? i was thinking either 255 or just 275.

I found that photo a couple of years ago and I labeled it as being a 285 on a 11" rim so I'm sure it is. It's definetly not a 315.

On the front, I'd run the biggest available. So a 275 is what I'd recommend. It really helps the braking distances and the cornering grip. There's lots of choices in 275, it's just the 315 that is very limited.

A 275 and 315 have the same overall diameter.

A 255 and 285 have the same overall diameter.

I choose the 255 & 285 combo just to stay away from the limited 315 sizes and cost. I think this combo also looks better than the 275 & 285 would. If you run a 275 on the front 9.5" rim it will look more buldged and then a 285 on the rear 11" will look more stretched... Plus they have a different overall diameter

They look very similar, but they are not HTR Z's. I had them and agree, they suck big time.
