Default avg. cost to powdercoat wheels?

I'm hopefully going to be picking up an '04 GTO in yellow pretty soon and i'm pretty dead set on bolting on a set of black 17s w/ a polished lip. the only thing ii've been able to find is the SpeedStar SP1 which is A) too much money and B) no the right offset anyway

i found a reasonably priced and really nice looking wheel in the ASA ST4

how much you guys think it would cost to powdercoat the centers black? the lip and rivets would stay polished of course...also any opinions on how it would look?

I paid $75 per wheel but with what you want it might be a little more i would think. I had the enitire rim powdercoated.

Do they give you some *** with that? That sounds really high. Every place I've contacted charges 35-45 dollars per wheel to powdercoat a gloss black ranging from just the center to the entire wheel. It's not that there are low quality places around here. I guess there is just too much competition around here.

Each place also told me that they even sandblast the entire wheel if it is going to be powdercoated or just simply sand the areas down that need to be powdercoated. So sandblasting, powdercoating, and clearcoating, sounds good for 35-45 dollars.

its $75-100 per wheel up here...and they do all the prep work too. BMR quoted me a while back and they charged about the same price w/o prep if i remember correctly

I'm in Riverside. There are a couple.

Advance Finishing Systems
(951) 788-1847

Fumio Fukaya Enterprises
(951) 784-1251

Those are the only two that I recognize from the Yahoo! Yellow Pages. Like I said both of them told me they do the sandblasting, powdercoating, clearcoating pretty cheap. Also it depends what size they are. You can't expect to get some 22" rims powdercoated for that price.
