I hear 58mm will make ya get spacers and bang in the inner fender so what have some of your experiences with the 56mm offset? I know the stock 17 10 spoke are 56mm so would the 18's fit about the same without banging or spacers?

You are comparing apples to oranges. The 17x9 rums with +56mm offset is not as deep because the rim is not as wide either. The +56mm is measured from the center of the rim.
17x9
Backspacing is 9/2*25.4+56 = 170.3mm (6.7") Front spacing is 58.3 (2.3")
18x10.5
Backspacing on +58mm rim is 105./2*25,4+58 = 191.35mm (7.5"). Front spacing is 75.35mm (3")
Therefore the Z06 rim sticks 0.8" extra and sticks out 1.7" further.
Most of the clearance is achieved by BFH mod. I run a 1/8" (3mm) spacer for extra clearance. Both my tires barely miss the inner fenderwell. I'm not sure about all the offsets available, but I've never heard of +56. You will never be able to do away with BFH unless your tires stick out past the fenderwells.

Oh yeah.. I think I have to bash in the fender well as well.
