those base Z 10spokes look pretty sharp like that. now get them widened

No they aren't.

I'm not disputing that properly painted wheels will be ok for quite some time but the factory coatings are generally not paint. During the winter a painted wheel in Michigan probably won't last very long.

There are two widely used wheel coatings used in the industry, and they are acrylic and polyester powder coatings. I actually just went and talked to a wheel engineer here at GM. Many of our steel wheels are painted. Aluminum wheels we import from Italy are painted with a process not used here. All other aluminum wheels are acrylic or polyester powder coated.

I'm trying to find something that will look good w/ a red SS w/ a black top. I like the color of the wheels on the black Z above, but I dont know if they'd look good on my car.
