Gotcha, but as far as the trade off for more rubber, is it worth it? How much over stock 16s and 17s?

Typically a 17" rim limits you to a 13" rotor.

Yeah, that's what I though too, but I picked up on someone saying that you can't fit them with the TT2s. Curious.

Hell yea! The wider tires make a big difference in stopping, cornering and acceleration compared to the 16". I only ran the GY GSC 16" before I upgraded and they really sucked, so I might have seen a bit bigger improvement than some other people have seen.
Can't fit what, a 4 piston caliper? The 13" vette rotors fit just fine in the 17" TTII.

Maybe that's what someone was refering to, fitting a 4 piston or 6 piston caliper in there, but most of the aftermarket 4 and 6 piston profiles are no bigger than stockers, at least in depth. Or am I confused and mistaken about that as well?

Well, not to be the naysayer but I don't like them. Here are the reasons.
1. Everyone has them.
2. It looks like something that should be on a 70's TA not a 00 TA.
3. They look small. I saw some 16s on a red TA last year and it made the tire sidewall look huge.
4. They have a staggered lip. Personally, I think a single lip would look better.
But hey, To each his own. This is just my opinion. Do what you want.

The other thing is about the staggered lip. I think that is also advantage. It really helps to catch the light and make the lips really shine. Most of the cast or single fold lips I've seen don't catch the light.
Sometimes one persons negative is another persons positive.
Joes99z, I would suggest looking at the TTII in person. Find a set that is nicely polished.
Here's some high quality pics if you are interested.

I like TT2's for there vintage look, which is the look I want with my car. New muscle car looks and performance with a hint of 60,s muscle.

I like them. They are not on my car yet but getting there. I do like the Draglites too. I do have a set of DL's with some ET Streets & front runners that will run at the track (and a little on the street) from time to time but my car is a daily driver with occasional long trips so that's why I'm gonna go with the TTII's for the street.
EDIT: Attached is what's going on soon, sig pic is with the Draglites.
