I didn't care too much about the paint, I just took a pair of vice grips and clamped the inner fender lip and pushed it up to a 45* angle. The paint flaked, but only underneath where it couldn't be seen. You can then touch it up if you want.

The most important thing you should think about is adding some spacers to the rear springs to add spring rate and to lift the rear a little. Those Prokit rears are real low and soft. Spacers can make a big difference.
