Default ZR1 wheels on 99 formula

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about getting zr1 rims for my 99 navy blue formula.

The first thing is.. I'm wondering if I should go with silver or chrome. The car has two silver stripes on the hood and silver side vents.

The second thing I'm wondering is... do T/As have rear fender flares? from behind, they look wider past the tailights and I really don't want to end up with the back tires sticking out past the wheel hubs.

So with that said, will I be able to do 315/35r17 on the rear? And should I go with 50mm offset?

Sorry about all the questions, which probably have easy answers. I just want to make sure I'm not going to junk my car out.

not sure about the offset question, but I think alloy wheels look awesome, especially if it will match the stripes on ur hood. Chrome is just a little too bling for me!

Default Grand Sport Offset

I have the GS offset. The wheels tuck up in the fenders nicely. I have 315/35/17 out back with some light massage work to the inner fender. Mine are polished. Here are a few pics.

Looks just like my car. I have the same offset, but I'm lowered with the pro-kit. Man what a difference. It fills in that gap between the wheel wells

what do you mean by the "gs" offset? how many mm is that?

Also, what do you mean by light massage work?

Thanks for the suggestions! natronathon: GS (I'm assuming that is Grand Sport) offset is 50mm. Massage work, I assume, would be banging the inside wheel wells to make more clearance for wider tires.

Alloys seem nice, they're much less expensive than chrome, and they'll match the stripes. I'll see if I can get a current pic of mine up here.

I have ZR1's on my formula. I have 9.5's all the way around with a 56mm offset. If you want the wheels to not stick out of the fender and fit perfectly then thats what you want. You could also go with a 50mm offset out back if you wanted. If you decide to run 315's your gonna have to soem fender rolling stuff etc. I say go with silver cause not only are they way cheaper than chrome, they will match your car perfectly eventho that chrome would set off your car big time.

Get silver and get 17x11's with a 50MM offset.

11's look bigger on Camaro's and Formulas because their rear don't flare back out on the bottom like the TA does.
