I'm planning on getting new tires soon. I will use them more for street then track but will occasionally go to the track. What will be the better tire.

If your car sees mostly street duty I wouldn't go with the Mickey's, they are terrible on wet pavement IMO. The BFG's are a bit better, but the Nitto's are te best for a daily driven vehicle (granted, they don;t hook as nice as the other 2, but they are still much better than most street tires as far as dry traction goes). Just my opinion, good luck!

I would suggest to just buy some Fuzions for the street(made by Bridgestone), they are alot cheaper and still a really good tire and then get 2 mickey t's either ET Streets or the Drag Radials for the rear when you take it to the track. Also from experience & my opinion the Fuzions do not hook-up that bad at the track either, for a street tire. Just incase you did not want to buy the mickey's right away.
Also, all of the ones you are looking at will wear really fast on the street and do not have the best wet traction. Now out of the ones you are looking at the Nittos are going to be the best for everyday use.

I was think about that to buy some good ones for the rear and some cheaper handling stye for the front. The wear it's really a problem b/c I don't drive it a lot.

I've had em all...Best sticky DR tire street or strip: The new M/T Drag Radial, pulled some 1.5 60' (not a huge selection of sizes though) next is the 315 BFG Drag Radials I'm running now (very happy) then the Nittos...All depends on your main objective...Good Luck!

Why would anyone vote anything other than Nitto's in this thread, he said it's mostly for a daily driver with a few trips to the track?
Dude, get the Nittos (they come in 18's if you need), you'll get more mileage out of them than the other two and can get a sub 2.0 60'. MT's shouldn't even be an option for a DD. You would burn 'em right up. Does your state have inspection requirements where they look at your tire tread? Plus with the Nitto's, you can get 555's that would damn near match the DR's. I can't stand tires that don't match on the street. You can with BFG's also, won't last as long though.

I would have to vote Nittos as well. I've had all three (not on the same vehicle though). I currently have the M/Ts and I think they hook well but the sidewalls are too soft for good handling (even at 32-35psi). I had BFGs and Nittos on my Mustangs and I liked them also (1.8x 60-foots on a near-stock car).
I have a friend with 275/40-17 Nittos on a '99 A4 SS with a 3500 Midwest converter and 3.73 gears. He has cut 1.70 60's and his tires have been on his car for like 2 years.

I use to have a set of BFG's they wore down after a long time but I wont go back cause I bought a set of MT ET Streed DR's I just did a little dry spin before stagging and they hooked like crazy!!! I'm useing the spray and they were kick a$$! jus a little spin at 25 psi but thats cause Im still useing the 10 bolt with 4.10s but they were great! i was wondering what they would do at a lower pressur and a better burn out!!! but Im not gonna try it till i get a moser!!!

For me it's ano brainer-MT DR's . I have had Nitto's and they lasted the longest , just went thru some BFG Drags and was not impressed hooked about the same as the Nittos and wore alot quicker. The MT's were just dead hooking, loved em! But for a street car that does little racing Nittos.

MT's are great tires at the track, but take a ride with them on the highway in the rain, then come back and see if you recommend them to someone who is driving on the street the majority of the time.
