Question ET Streets or Drag Radial

What do you recommend. Tires are for my 89 camaro. Are the Et streets worth the extra $160(extra $30 a tire and $50 each tube). Also do you think drag radials will give me enough traction. I just bought a nitrous express GM EFI kit and a fuddle 3800 2.2str converter. All comments welcome.

Thanks,
Eric

These are going to be just track tires. I have another set of rims 18" irocs with new BFG kdw 2 tires for the street, but these tires are very bad at the track. The best 60' out of two runs was a 2.6(with 2.73 gears and a stock posi unit, now I have 3.42 gears and an eaton posi unit). And also my 2001 SS is my comuter car. The Iroc only gets about 10-12mpg. I know the car is low 12 second werthy(spelling??), and with 150 shot it should be maybe mid 11's. Just a man trying to get as deep as I can. Any more suggestions??

A low 12 second car and a 150 shot will put you into the low 11's high 10's. Also you do not need tubes in the 26x11.5x15 ET Streets. I run that tire with no tubes and I haven't had any problems. At your power level, both tires will work well for you.

I personally hate e.t. streets.. They work pretty good at the track, but I have never had good luck with them on the street. The M/T Street Radials are nice tho!
