I just wanted to know what is the wides tire you can put on a 1998 TransAm? I waiting for my Black Z06 Motorsports to come and I'm not sure on the tire sizes for the rear. I want to go as wide on the rear tire as I can with out rubing.(fronts 17x9.5 Rear 18x10.5)

Yes . . . with a little effort. On a Camaro you have to flare the fenders slightly, but on a T/A you might not need to. That tire needs a 12 inch wide wheel though. A 295/35 is the right tire size for a 18x10.5 wheel. You would probably need CCW wheels with a 7.5" backspacing to fit the 335's.

The Nitto 315s are not as wide as .. say the Goodyear GS-D3s or BFG KDW.. But, I would go with a 295 tire..
