Default nitto dr's 245 16's vs 275 17's

its it really worth getting larger tires and rims? im only going to be running a lid/cutout fuddle 2400 2.2STR stall and maybe a bottle in about a few months. do you all think its worth the cash to upgrade now?

Go with the 16s for the track.

I have the 16x8 wheels, Nitto's, fuddle 3400 stall with 2.1 str and launches great. Lower sidewall on the 17's will offset the help from the extra width. I have some cheap lightweight centerlines I use for the Nitto's and cut easy 1.70-1.71 60 foots. While I am posting here, do you get pwm with your converter? A sound like a bag of rocks at lower rpms under 2,000. I do, so was wondering. Love the converter though.
