Default Dumb question bout nittos

this is a stupid question but i have nitto 555r's 315s and they are BALD i mean no to tread but they do have tread on the outsides but in the middle none, my question is how safe is running blad tires? i knw water would be dangerous but is it safe to travel at high speeds? are the more likely to have a blow out? was trying to hold off a little longer till i get TT2's
thanks

Not a dumb question at all. My best guess is not to push it, if they need to be changed you should do it pretty soon. How long are you planning on waiting for the TT2's?

When I had my first set of nittos, the same thing happened to mine. Tread in the middle was gone long before the edges. This is due to over-inflation of the tire. I also had shitty traction running on these tires in that condition, I would spin all over the place completely unintentionally.

As long as the wires aren't showing, I would run them on dry days, but wouldn't even think of using them in the rain because you will hydroplane.
