Widening Evo's?
I really like the look of the HP evo's in 19". But I totally need more than 9.5 inches in the back. Think my Trans Am could handle them widened to 11 in the back? Plus I'm going to lower it an inch. It's a 2000 WS6. What do you guys think?

Well, not that I'm rich or anything, but I'd rather spend extra money and get exactly what I want. None of the big rims that I like look good. None of the rims that look good are big enough. So it's going to have to be custom width evo's. I just want to know if I can fit 11's in the back with a one inch drop without tubbing the back end. I don't mind BFH and fender rolling, but no cutting! Does anybody have a setup comparable to this?

i have tooked into it.... about 200 to wide to 11's for each tire = 400$
fender roller rent, b/c of the 38mm offset.............................= 60$
315/30/18 or 315/30/19 for 2 tires......................................= 600$

This issue has been addressed before many times.
I think it should probably be made a sticky because this question gets asked every couple of days.
Here's the link to the thread where I explained it all:
