What regular street tires are you using on the dragstrip & your best 60' with them?

Easier to get a good 60 foot with a A4 and even with the 3400 stall and ZERO traction on the Dayton Daytona ZR's I have seen a 1.86, but the chance of wheel hop is greater with a aggresive launch and I want to keep my stock rear for as long as possible, also when it hits 2nd on the track the street tires want to kick out.

Z28's didn't come with 275 tires so they couldn't have been stock tires or rims. They also had 16" rims. The stock tires on the ss 10-spokes I believe are the eagle f1's

That's the best way to show off an impressive 60 foot time--just scan the timeslip and post it big! I would do the same exact thing if could get my 60' that low with a stock suspension and regular street tires. Hell, I would even link it in my sig. Also, you might have convinced me to go with Firestones in the future. I think their two best tires now are the Fuzions and the Wide Ovals. I'm also thinking that all that weight on your rear-end helped you out big time.

Yeah little too big, eh? It's just sometimes hard to read if it's not big enough... I agree the 200+ lbs helped in the 60', but even before the audio I ran a 13.3... Makes me wonder if I had a few 1/10ths hidden some where.

Honestly, when these go I'll switch to another brand.. Way too much $$$ for these tires....

With old car (98 ta A4 3600 converter) 1.68 60' 12.00 @ 109 ,18 psi, also spray 100 shot out of the hole. The tires where yokohamas P-550's I think .I bought them back in 2002 at sears.I tried to buy them for my current car but sears no longer had them.

cut 1.91s on 275/40/18 nitto 555 think i could of cut some 1.8s if i didnt have such a crappy suspension (lowered 2 inches no LCA relocation brackets).. i dont think its too bad for 18s and a 6 speed...stock clutch too

ol' fulda carrots to you !!!! I have many of old time slips to prove it buddy. Just because your not doing it doesn't mean no one else can't. I tried scanning one of them but there to faded to see once there on the screen. I knew there would be many doubters.I should have just kept it to myself.

I don't think we was saying a 2.1 was impossible...I think he was just commenting on how shitty the tires are. I might be wrong though.

Hey, don't jump the gun. I don't think he was doubting anybody's timeslip. Nevertheless, it's never a bad idea for anybody to scan their best timeslips and link them to their sig. Even though my best timeslips ain't that impressive, I scanned them anyway and I'm about to update my website with them.
