Default Simple Lug Nut Questions (ARP 2.5" Studs)

I currently have stock wheel studs with Gorilla locking lug nuts. I've snapped countless wheel studs in the rear and have grown sick of it, so I called up Thunder and ordered some ARP 2.5" wheel studs to help prevent the problem from happening again (I know torque wrench, specs, etc). These are 0.5" longer than stock so my Gorilla locking lug nuts wont fit. I want something that looks decent but has the extra clearance for the ARP studs. Any other lugs that look good and will clear (dont have to be locking). Also, anyone know where I could find some of the plastic caps that go on the stock lugs in chrome finish (dont want the black caps)?

SLP has the chrome caps, unfortunately you have to buy lug nuts too . . .

Thanks Xsta.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket lugs like the Gorilla lugs that will accomidate the extra half inch of the ARP studs? I'd obviously like to go this route but wanted to know about the chrome cap route as a fall back plan.

The other otion is if all you are looking for is stronger studs is to cut them to length.
