Question Help: 15"x8" Prostars fit a 2002 Ws6 ?

Wondering if 2 weld racing prostar alum.alloy wheels 15" x 8", 5.5" back space, 4.75" bolt circle; would properly fit without any problems. Car is a 2002 Pontiac T/A. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Proper fit...well the backspace is not optimum but is the biggest you can get. We build our wheels with a larger backspace near stock so that it is correctly centered like stock.

If you have 8 inch wide wheels on the car right now (stock depending on year), the camaro 8 inch wheel has a stock backspace of 6.25-6.75 depending on the year. This means your new weld wheel will protrude .75-1.25 inches out further then stock.

The wheel will not be centered in the wheel-well. It will look fine from the side, but from the rear it will not be centered. You also shouldn't be running the typical 26x11.5 or 275/50 tires on that wheel either...they are meant to be used on a 10 inch wheel. This means your stuck on running a smaller tire then you can...typically traction is an issue so why handicap yourself.

You will have to add spacers, grind and change your studs on the car to make the wheel fit and be safe.
