HELP with ZO6 WHEELS
With that said, though, the Sportlines are soft springs and they're real low in back so you'll want to be sure that the fender lip doesn't rub the sidewall of the tire when the suspension compresses. Best way to check this is to put a couple jackstands under the rear subframes letting the axle hang, pull the rear springs out (assuming they don't fall out on their own
), then put a jack under the pumpkin and raise the rear until you hit the bumpstops. You should be able to gauge your tire-to-fender lip clearance easily this way. If the fender lip hits on one side only, you can use an adjustable PHR to center the axle better. If both sides hit or are very close then you'll need to roll the fenders to prevent cutting the tires. With regard to spacers, I use an H&R 5mm spacer in the rear for an effective 48mm offset - looks and works great. Just make sure you get at least 6 turns on your lugnuts and get a nice hubcentric spacer. Just be aware that the further you push the wheels out the more likely you will be to have to roll the fenders.
