Default RUFF Wheels, Any Feedback?

I came across these wheels today and was wondering if anyone has put RUFF wheels on their car.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Si...QQcmdZViewItem

I need bigger wheels to fit some new brakes. I am working on a deal for some corvette adapter brackets to mount these brakes to. I used to want ZO6 wheels, but am not totally sold on the style anymore. I think these RUF wheels look cool, but have not heard much about them. I searched but did not come across anything. I want to make sure they will fit properly as I want the car to have a good stance and do not want any rubbing. They have a +35mm offset, will that be too far inboard? As I said, I want them to fit which means tire edge is near body edge and not tucked in under the wheelwell. Let me know any thoughts and thanks for the feedback.

I have pics of the brakes too:

Has anyone seen any companies supplying replica wheels from the new Corvette ZO6 yet? Those look pretty good too..... I couldn't find any yet though.

Finally found them. Had to not search for wheels and they came up this time. Weird..... I still kind of like those RUFF wheels. Just wish I could get an 18x10.5 or 18x11 for the rear......

Another question for everyone:
Are there any wheels similar to this style that would have an 18x10.5 or 18x11 size and would not break the bank? I've seen some Fiske's and SSR wheels, but can't afford ~$1k per rim. Thanks again for feedback.

dude those wheels would look sweeeet. Man I would buy them. they a great offset to give your car a nice stance. Just think if you to widen them 1" about a 42mm offset which is still perfect. nice rims very nice!

yeah i think those look pretty nice, but i am not sure how well they would sit since you want them out near the edge of the fenderwell. they would be a great canidate for widening though, since that would increase the offset.

With that 35mm offset they will be flush with the fenderwell's. Got a buddy with 17/9's with a 35mm offset and that is where there at

Yeah I Think They Would Be Perfect The Only Time You Would Be Really Worried About The Offset If You Were Going To Go With A 10.5-11 Inch Rim In The Back. Those Are Some Big Brakes Pls Post Pics Once You Have Them Mounted I Would Like To See Them.

I like the same wheels in the I think Hyper black finish, they look great. My worry about any 5x120 wheel is the extra pressure on the lugs and I know people put the 5x120 wheels on fbody's, but with my luck I would be the one out of a 1,000 to have my wheels fall off.

There are a few places selling the new Z06 replica wheels, but the size is kinda odd 18.8.5 front and think 19x9.5 back. Tomzwheels I think just got some in, but I emailed a few places and next month they will have the 17.9.5 out.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I fould that sticky above that had a bunch of wheel spacings with the different offsets. And these RUFF wheels are about the same as the Fiske's. So I think they would sit out near the edge of the fender where I want them, and definitely could always be widened later..... I am really thinking about these.

I saw the RUFF hyperblack too but they are on backorder for at least 60 days for my car. I called the shop asking questions yesterday after I found that auction and saw the black in a different auction (but they were for an eclipse so wrong offsets). Although if my car goes into storage for the winter, it won't really matter if I have to wait a little for wheels. And then I can get underway with the surgery for the new brakes!

I have decided I really want wheels with a deep looking lip. I really like that look on the f-bodies. The Z06 wheels and C6 wheels have no lip and I am not as much a fan of that anymore. I think the lip gives the car a nice aggressive stance.

I have a set of C5 adapter brackets on the way and I will definitely keep everyone up to date on the brake transformation. Thanks again fellas.

Any updates on the brakes or wheels?
I've been thinking about the wheels myself

The bolt circle is not the same. They will fit, but it will NOT be safe.
