Damn Tony, why do all of your cars continue to get better-looking all the time? Congrats on the new wheels; they look great!

hawgs: Hotchkis springs on the car. Lowered about 1.75" inches. Wheel diameter has very little to do with closing wheel gaps, since the outer diameter of the tire remains the same and just the rim gets bigger.

LC1: I have no idea on offset, I bought these wheels from another member.

No doubt, but its probably because American Racing already sells a TON of them polished, and doesn't see the need for colored ones.

Looks nice, I'm still a fan of the others too though but you're right polished wheels are a PITA to keep clean.

I wonder what charcoal centers would look like??

Jacob, you are correct. Order them polished and take them to a powdercoater, typically $40-60 per wheel is what most places charge.

I like the new look. Its even better that you went with 18s, nobody rolls on 18" TT2s.

One thing I wish American Racing would do is to use the non-stepped lips, or 'soft lips' for these wheels. That lip would look DEEP if the stupid step wasn't in there.

Looks good. Gotta love that color! What is it with Tony's and Orange cars? I know of another Tony-Orange SS in Georgia.

And I agree with you on the non-stepped lip. I love the look of the cars with a bit of a lip. Makes it much more aggressive.

thats what I loved about my smoothie 2s. But after them I will never(well..) buy a set of polished rims again. More upkeep than a spoiled woman.

hmmm, one thing I'm noticing already with these is that they don't ride nearly as good as more expensive billet wheels. These tires are basically brand new (Yokohama) and I've had them balanced twice now, but still getting vibrations at 60-70 mph. I'm thinking these TT2 wheels probably aren't as true as more expensive wheels.

Mine do it too Tony, I've had them balanced A LOT now and still get vibrations around that exact speed. Annoying as hell but don't have money for other wheels.
