Why does AFS wheels cost so much more?

Default Why does AFS wheels cost so much more?
I was searching for the best aftermarket ZR-1 wheels and I searched and read people saying really good things about AFS wheels. However they want $1450 for just the wheels! Everyone else is around $700. What makes AFS charge twice as much? Thanks!

i see them new on ebay for around $1200 with tires. check there

i got mine used for $250. they are kinda heavy though. look sick as hell also. not sure why they cost so much. i thought they were like $500-600 new anyways on ebay....
