Good choice...I can't daily drive these because they are polished. They just stain way too fast down here in FL...any type of water sitting on them is really bad. That's okay though...it won't be my daily driver for much longer.

Where are you finding ccw wheels for $800??

Tee hee hee...I'm SURE he meant $800 to chrome all 4 wheels, which is a pretty good price. So he would have about $3300 in just the wheels, then he'll have to spend some more $$ on the tires. I've considered doing it myself, but it is too much of a PITA to break the wheels/tires down, ship them to have them chromed (not many people do chrome wheels), and then put everything back together without screwing up the finish. Good thing I find polishing relaxing...

I figure the total cost will come out to $4500-$4750, or at least I am praying that it stays there
$2600 for 18x11 and 18x10 505As
$800 for chrome
$1100 for GS-D3s in 295/35/18 and 285/35/18 (295 coming out 1st 1/4 of 06)
$xxx for shipping, mounting, balancing, lugs, etc

**** thats a lot of money

abadss- way to represent Privats...... Know why i hardly seen any f-bodys with fahrens? I wonder why? I like the look of mine? Weird Very nice clean lookin SS BTW!

yeah thanks man, too bad its not mine anymore, sold it this past week

i like the fahrens too, maybe they arent very popular b/c of the sizes, dont they only come in 8" or 8.5" widths?

Yea... haha prolly why. Mine are 18x8's. They are begging to get widened this winter..... Whyd ya sell the SS, sorry to get offtopic, Have another LS1 lined up, how much did ya get more it?

Precisely why not a lot of people do what we do...but for me, this is a long term project. Getting everything looking right was one of the first steps.

Exactly....I wanna give this car to my kids whenever I get any....I was always envious of that kid in high school that rebuilt a mustang bullit with his father, it was cool as hell
