WTF? 'Lugnuts' on SS rims?
First time Ive thought to observe the lugnuts on my rims to check if they are tight since Ive purchased the car...imagine my surprise when I found out they were plastic and popped off. Here is what scares me though....what is under there isnt a typical lugnut bolt but some wierd looking bolt with what could almost be described as 'slots' in it. What is going on here and how in the hell do I remove these things?

I figured these cars had locking lugnuts it just happened that the one that i took off of each was the locking lugnut. Add poor visibility due to it being nighttime and your old man pestering the **** out of you and its easy to get worried over something stupid.

pretty sure ALL f bodies came with locking lugnuts from the factory
my no option police B4C camaro came with locking lugnuts and it just has snowflakes, i dont think there is much of a demand out there for stolen 16 inch 10 spokes lol

Locking lugs WERE NOT standard. I have chrome ZR1's and they had the stock lugs with the stupid plastic covers on them. Locks were either SLP options(SS, Firehawk) or dealer options(all others). Neither of my previous 2 F bodies had locks either(94 V6 Camaro/Firebird).
