Default Pics of 18's with xxx/45/18 please

Hey guys im lookin at buyin a couple of tires off someone ..the only problem is that i think they are too tall for my liking....i didnt want to go over 40 in height . but maybe some pics can help make up my mind, thanks

The way to go is 275/35/18s thats what I got.

The xxx is the important part. 40 is not a numerical height measurement. It is the aspect ratio; the percentage of the width that is the height. For instance, with 275/35/18 the height is 96.25 mm. I agree with Too Wacko. That's the size I have.

Although 275/40s are awesome if you arent lowered. They fill the wheel well better IMO. These are BFG KDWs

There is no way in hell I'd put a 40+ series tier on a 18" wheel for a Camaro . . .

thats what im thinkin.....

i have 245/40/18 and im lookin at somones 255/45/18 eagle f1's....i just dont know if theyd look good..... but i do need some tires....for a low price too though so ...i dont know what to do...

I accidentally ordered a set of Nitto 555r's in a 305/45/18 and the side wall was huge. You definitely should run a 35 series imo.
