for all hp owners

well guys from the look of it your not original anymore and your lovley hp evos are an inch away from being abducted into the "over-done group" with me and the rest of the zr1,zo6 and tt2 owners.hahahhahaha.dont get me wrong they look awsome ,but the very thing you guys were fighting you are now part of and please dont say you were the first .just swallow your pride and take .and relize its about looks and style and not about being different.hahahahahaha

Yes, the evos are over done, but the HPR5s are not done enough IMO. The R5 is a better looking wheel too!

Then why did you even post this? Everybody around me has stock rims..if I liked those better than my evo's I'd put them on, because I'm not worried about being different!

My car's been totally disassembled since June, and I bought the wheels after it was tore down. I'm doing a total custom resto/rebuild.

I'll have pics of the car with the new wheels on it after she's all put back together.

$200 per rim. These are the guys who did it: www.weldcraftwheels.com

Turnaround time was 5 days. I checked around with some other vendors before I decided on Weldcraft and it seemed that all of them either had a limit on how much they could widen the wheel, or they wanted to base the price of the service on how wide the starting width was in comparison to how wide you wanted the wheel to be.

(Example: $150 to go from 8" to 9.5", but $250 if you wanted 8" to 11".)

Overall, I'm very pleased with their service.
