Default CenterLine ConvoPro's *HELP!!!*

Anyone have pics of these on a 98+ TA? I want these really bad, 15x4 (front), 15x10 (rear)... am I going to have a hard time getting these to fit over the front/rear brakes? What backspacing should I get? Lemme know, thanx!!!

Would a 5" backspace look stupid on a 15x10? I dunno

The Convo 10's will extend too far out from wheel well so you may want the narrower 8.5" version with 5" backspacing.

Bogarts 10" are the best fitting with the most offset that does not require grinding.

This is my Bird with 7.5" Convo's out back... unless you are making pretty big power you don't really need a wider rim...

Fronts require no grinding at all as thats what I run. I to want to pick up some rear convo pro's but i believe they require caliper grinding right?

I have 7.5" wide rear Convo's and they bolt on with no grinding... if you want a 10" wide rim this is not the best choice as the off set is not ideal... this is the least expensive way to get into a set of simple bolt on drag rims with an LS1 F-Body...

The fronts are 1 3/4 bs and the rear tires are 26x10.50x15.

Hope this helps

vmax1500....what size tire you runnin out back?

i was thinking of gettin some convopros for the rear of my car to match the fronts

im runnin 255/50/16 etstreet radials on my car right now and thats on an 8" rim so a 1/2" sould not be much of a problem

7.5" rim with a 5" back space sits the same amount in as a 10" rim with a 7.5 back space so thats why i liked about them...wont have to worry about messin up my quaterpanal when im pullin my wheels haha

just wondering did you ever try the 8,5s on your car? the trans ams are sapposed to have my clearence for tires then camaros

I run the 15x10s out back and they do stick out a bit. I dont mind though because I only put them on when I race which isnt that often. I also dont mind the look of them sticking out. I think it looks pretty cool like that. I could see where you guys pulling wheelies might not like them though, they would probably scrape your rear fenders on launch.

In the 2 photos above I have run a 27x9 running NA and 28x10 spraying... a 9" wide tire is really the limit for a 7.5" rim... the 10" tire does not look right on the 7.5" rim... I am selling my convo pro setup to get some Bogarts... it's a little more money, but I can get a 10" wide rim that fits perfectly and they look better and are lighter!
