Default Tire size question

I tryed looking this info up on the tire size calculator but still need some help.

Im ordering the C6R Motorsport wheels with 275/35/18 for the rear and 245/40/18 in the front. is this going to fit correctly or will I have to do the bfh mod to roll the lip? Im ordering the wheels and tires from Discount and they said they have 18x9.5 and 10.5.

Thanks

Well a 275 will fit fine out back and should require any mods. However if your getting 9.5" rims up front and 10.5" out back, youd prolly want wider tires like 265/275 up front and like 295/305s out back. Id look into the Nitto 305/35/18's for out back if you want a nice tire, but 305s may require a bit of BFH, not sure. Someone chime in. But 275s out back shouldnt be a problem but if its on a 10.5" rims, id go wider tire

275's fit just fine without any mods, I have 275/35/18's on all fours and they fit just fine, I wish I would have bought wider rear rims, b/c I would like to put 305's but I think I am stuck with using a 285, b/c nitto doesn't make a 275 for an 18 inch rim

I have those exact wheels, 18x8.5/18x10.5, 275/35/18 front, 315/30/18 rear.

Tires I run are michelin pilot sport ps2s.

If you want to run 315/30/18 on the rear of an f-car, order ARP wheel studs and run like a 3/16" spacer on the rears, bfh the inner fender, for camaros roll the outer fender also.

Thanks for the info. I was told there would be no way a 305 or better would fit on there. But looks like i can.

i would love 305 or 315 on the back

does anyone know if 245/45/18 will fit on a 18 X 9.5 rim? Or is the rim too wide?

I wouldn't run a 245 on a 9.5 inch wheel, that tire is way to skinny and would look VERY silly.

Best tires to run: 9.5" w/ a 275/35ZR18 front and a 10.5" w/ a 295/35ZR 18 rear , thats what I got.

Just run the 295/35/18's all the way around. Thats the set up I have and it looks cool and has never rubbed, even when auto xing, plus my car is lowered 1.5 inches.

ya im lookin at the exact same wheels. sizes and all 18x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 out back. im throwin some goodyear f1 gs-d3's on. ill prob go 275/35 up front and 285/35 out back, its the biggest rear 18 tire i can find for this series. im just not sure where to get them or who to have mount/balance them yet..
