Thanks for posting that pic HotWhip, those wheels on a pewter T/A look badass.

Thanks for sharing blu98T/A, I didn't realize the difference in the lip until you pointed that out to me, I like the idea as well.

Looks good. I might be biased myself though I staggered mine too. 19's here on a lowered car and no problems.

That's pretty cool of you. I don't trust too many people when I do my wheels. Mounting isn't hard, but everyone always goes half *** on wheel weights.

Only observation I see (other than the fact that they look good) is that they didn't match the tire up to the valve stem on the wheel. No biggie...

Huh? What do you mean? The tire to the valve stem?

See those yellow dots. That dot should ideally be located on par with the valve stem. This assures the wheel/tire will balance out with the least amount of weight.

That mark basically identifies the lightest part in the circumference of the tire.

Well, I guess you do learn something new everyday. I wish I knew that when my tires were installed, I would have made the shop do it.

Not really a big deal, but it's there for a reason ya know?

A lot of guys don't do it, because of the lower profile tires. Once you have the tire mounted, it's tougher to line up/spin the tire because of the beefy sidewall.

First off the wheels look great on your car, but I too am biased. I've had my 19x9.5s HP Evos darks on for about 18 months now and new regret going with them.

To the wheel balancing topic. I'm guessing the 'best' way to balance them would be to find the heavy spot on the rim and them find the light spot on the tire and then match those up so you use the least amount weights and achieve the most optimum balance.

That would be the best possible way. Not many take the time to do it that way though. For the most part, the valve stem on the wheel will imediately be interpreted, as the heavier part of the wheel. On a "perfect" wheel, it makes sense.

But you are right.

They look fantastic on your car. Such a good choice for the Trans Am and Camaro.
