Default Lets See Rim & Tire Pics

Im trying to select a tire of the new rims im getting. (18" ZO6 rims 9.5 in front 10.5 in back) I was just curious what kinda rubber everyone is running? These arent going to be my race wheels i just want really low profile tires on these im going to use my stockers when i mean business. So if you guys would post up some pics of what tires your using and leave the sizes id appreciate it my rims come in tomorow but no hurry on tires cuz they arent going on till spring

well, iwouldn't want really low profile tires, or they won't fill up the wheel well, and they'll look like crap, but that's just my opinion.

Well with all 18's you need somewhat of a low profile. I run 265/35/18s out back and 245/40/18s up front. I would stick around 35 for sidewall on 18s. Most 18s look best with a drop so it will help fil lthe wheel well. You cant add too much sidewall to 18s or else the tire size will be too big and will rub and create problems. Too little sidewall you will bend rims. Stick around 35's for 18s and lower it. Plus adding to sidewall will increase tire height raising the suspensio nanyway so it wouldnt help in filling the wheel well i believe. maybe a little. If you need to fill the wheel well, lower it a little. I also agree that 18s that dont fill the wheel well look like crap, so run a good size tire and drop it alittle and youll be golden. hope this helps

Id say right around 35-40. However with 18s and stock suspension, you get that 4x4 look usually.

I have 275/35/18's all around. Maybe 40's would be a good choice to fill the wheel well a little more if your car isnt lowered.
