Default About to get new tires for the TA

hey guys, i have 17 inch rims, and my current tire size is 275/17/40. they are BF goodrich Comp TA ZRs which i have just learned sucked...they dont grip the track at all

was wondering what tires you guys use that i can use as a DD and at the track *i may end up getting slicks but then again i dont know if i wanna buy another set of wheels plus slicks*

also wondering what tire size you guys recommend for front and rears. i will definately be adding a lot of performance options on my car such as a cam, roller rockers, full exhaust, ect.

For the stock 17x9" wheels I recommend 275/40/17 Nitto 555R's for a good daily driven sticky tire. As for the front's, if your goals are more straight line oriented you could go with some 245/45/17's in front to minimize drag and weight.

I would say do a search, but it doesn't work anymore They don't grip as well as an all out slick, or even some of the other drag radials, but they wear the best and can actually be used in the rain, unlike the other drag radials on the market. They will however kick the **** out of normal street tires.
